ante mare et terras
et quod tegit omnia caelum
unus erat toto naturae
vultus in orbe
quem dixere chaos

before the sea, the earth,
the all embracing sky
they say chaos was
cosmos only face

avant la mer, la terre
et avant le ciel qui tout domine,
le seul visage du cosmos
on l’appela chaos
